I'd like to be a woman for 1 year.
Dont be biased and think about a moment. Have you seen the advantages in being able to see life through their eyes? Are we so different?
I dont think so. I think we're the same mass. Perhaps more rounded in their case (blessed curves). But I know perfectly well that we were cooked in different ovens and with different temperatures. All we are, but there are things we can see that are more common in males and females.
We are created in different contexts and different pressures. I feel that, when they are young, boys have a group context in which like the herd there is pressure to demonstrate that we are strong, and that can not enter our circle, and that any threat will be answered by force. Testosterone maybe have some power in it. We are tougher than girls, and demonstrations of affection and feelings are seen as signs of weakness.
The girls, for their part, have some forms of behavior. They exchange some signs of affection and love (something unthinkable in this society for men, we would return to the times of the Greeks and Romans).
The key point in all this is that beside the difference in acceptable behaviors, family pressures and generational copying figures, there is a big difference that we demonstrate after puberty.
They have the lock and we have the key. And the lock is protecting the head, then that for all intents and purposes, it is they who determine when the door opens. That gives them enormous power, castrating responsability and also some problems. As to the power, Cleopatra and Salome would explain this first issue. All virgins sacrificed all women stoned in the East (even now) and all the evicted by their parents because they are sexually active would explain to you the 2nd issue, and all you can explain the 3rd issue.
But I'll help you. These problems arise from this imbalance. The sex is there when you want, or we convince you. i withsdraw form here the figure of pure violation that disgusts me deeply and I do not understand how can give pleasure (although i fancy the faked violation as a fantasy of the couple...)
As you have this immense power, makes many of us liyin to you, we make promises, for getting those moments. As many do the same for the YSL dress or the status of the wife of Governor Dr X or Y.
And that is what is sad. Some lie to enjoy, protect others from the world for fear of being cheated. And the gap increases. On one hand the men realize that to have what others have, need to lie and pretend they are not. On the other side they become more open and more aware of their power. The gap increases with more lies, more taboos and less sex.
At the end is responsible sex between 2 adults who do not want to spend a cold night, communicative, open soul, who lost in the middle of it all.
We continue to be those kids with 5, 6 years that looked at each other, curious about the physical and behavioral differences. Amazed because we need each other to be happy.
What evil lie down together, to be honest, we realize the weaknesses of each, and wait for the dawn, with much joy in the morning than the day before?
The truth is the path to happiness - I believe.

Be happy and true. Who hurt someone with early fault is responsible for the decrease in happiness that person.
